March Madness has flown out the window . . . and so begins April

Yes, we might have not won any bracket challenges, but at least we had fun during the month of March. The pictures below will describe our marvelous adventures:

First of all, Bethany turned the big #2-5 . . . . ooh, scary! OK, not really. But, we had a little family party where we ate Chinese and went to mutual where we made Dino-bite squares! Then, the following Thursday we had friends over for a crepe party (very delightful).

We didn't really make a cake, so we put candles in a leftover cranberry coffee cake I made for Scott's work :-)
My husband is amazing and bought me a pressure cooker and canning supplies, YAY!!!

We also attended a Sock Hop put on by our ward's Young Women to raise money for Girls Camp. Of course we got dressed up and spent probably too much money on desserts, but it was worth it.

Also, at the Sock Hop I got to hang out with one of my other favorite girls, Ansley - the daughter of my wonderful friend Amanda (I still miss her tons). Ansley is growing up so fast and is such a beautiful person, just like her mommy!

Further into March, we found that using charts help Lily brush her teeth better (charts of the left) . . . now if only the potty chart (on the right) would work just as well :-)

At the end of March, we went to a travelling circus . . . pictures tell them all!

Here is Lily, what is she eating? No, not cotton candy . . . boiled squash, and she's loving it!

The pony rides, we watched from a distance.

Then the show began with the Tigers! Of course, the tigers looked extremely tired, which made me sad . . . but they did some great tricks, there was also a Liger! And yes, we were that close to the cages.

Also, we got to see camels, llamas, zebra, and more ponies do tricks.

Lily did a little dancing, too!

ELEPHANTS!!! What more can be said!

Finally, we have the beginning of April, which began with a wonderful Easter egg hunt!

Things started off a little shaky, they kept putting off the start of the egg hunt, so Lily was a little bit frustrated.

And she's off!

The End. She picked up a grand total of 11 eggs! She even got a strip that said she won a prize, but it was stuck to a piece of candy that we didn't see until we got home (oh well, she got enough candy).

Later that day, after her nap, the Easter bunny came!

And on Sunday, we dyed eggs :-) Happy Easter . . . what a glorious time a year to remember our Savior!
