And, of course, our funny girl Lily . . . she's showing off her new hat she got from our friend Rebecca. Rebecca makes awesome hats, gloves, and more! Check out her page on facebook: CuteLoops . . . you won't be disappointed!

A Tale of Two Princess Sisters (and Thanksgiving)

Once upon a time, there lived two beautiful princesses. They lived in a wonderful kingdom that was always full of surprises.

Recently, Princess Lily aided in the crowning of Princess Margaret.

They enjoyed a royal family outing to the fair and indulged themselves on funnel cake; helped tend the local bees, farm animals, and bears; and enjoyed their first carnival and tractor rides.

That Sunday, they had fun putting on their royal best (thanks to King and Queen - Grammy and Papa - Graham). And got a little carried away with subtle hair pulling.

In the following week, Princess Margaret was given the opportunity to taste the glorious mushiness of rice cereal. Congratulations on 4 months!!

She also relaxed in her new favorite throne:

Later in the month of November, Princess Lily and the royal family attended a gala in their honor at the local children's museum. Here is Princess Lily modeling some of her dresses she wore that night:

She was also given the opportunity to have a local artisan paint on her face!

While Queen Mommy and Princess Margaret had a little fun with a statue.

Princess Lily, also had her first experience wearing curlers all night in order to have a beautiful head of curls for church the next day.

Furthermore, Queen Mommy had the opportunity to get a slight taste of what it would be like if she had twins (no worries, the babies did wonderful) . . . At least Princess Margaret enjoyed having a friend over to play! They even had so much fun that by the end of the day, they were holding hands.

Finally, on to the royal family Thanksgiving feast!! Here is how they decorated the banquet hall:

The delectable turkey!

And don't forget the desserts!!!

They had such a grand time during the Thanksgiving feast. Princess Lily was a gracious hostess,  and even made a friend with one of the sailors who came to the banquet.

The royal family send their best regards to all of you and hope you had a delightful Thanksgiving holiday as well!

Let's try this again!!

I had written this blog a week or so ago, but it got deleted because of a stalling issue that happened. Anyway, here is how the rest of our Halloween month went . . . we had tons of parties and activities we went to, so enjoy!

Lily's preschool went to the pumpkin patch earlier in the month:

(Lily with her good friends in preschool . . . being silly with pumpkins)

( Lily with her very own pumpkin patch pumpkin!)

Then we had an HOA party that I was involved with the planning . . . we had a jump castle, hay ride, and candy galore!!

(Lily loved going on the hay ride)

Grammy Graham found the perfect "spinny" dress (as Lily likes to call it) . . . so here is my almost 4 year old actually posing for a picture, yes, she did place her foot specifically in that way and made me wait to take the picture until she did so :-) Don't you just love her!

Here is Princess Lily . . . yes, she truly did fall asleep that way. Our very own princess and the pea (except without the pea).

And of course, Miss Maggie is beginning to enjoy sitting up. She is now 4 months and is 16 lbs 13 oz. and 25.25" long!! Way to go Maggie!

Here are our Jack-O-Lanterns this year. Lily drew her the face on her pumpkin and daddy cut it out for her!

At the end of October, we had "Soup"er Saturday (which I helped plan) - a big craft day at church. I didn't actually complete any projects offered . . . instead I sewed Maggie's costume for the Trunk or Treat that night.

TRUNK OR TREAT!!!

Here is our family picture . . . can you guess our theme? Yes, we harvest butterflies (specifically princess butterflies).

 Maggie's costume up close:

And finally, the actual day of trick or treating. Happy Halloween!

Lily decided she wanted to go as a princess for trick or treating . . . so, she was a Christmas Princess. Yay for a creative daughter :-)

And, more videos that probably the grandparents will enjoy the most. Maggie "talking" and giggling:

What have we been up to? Have a look for yourself . . .

We've been keeping ourselves busy and we're enjoying going out more as a family lately . . . especially since the weather is getting SO much cooler.

Recently we went to Cypress Gardens because Berkeley County residents get in for free on the 3rd Saturday of the month (before 12pm), and we sure do love when we find fun activities for free!

As we were leaving for Cypress Gardens we noticed Maggie was laughing out loud in her sleep (for about 3 minutes or so)! Such a cutie . . . so the picture below is when she was laughing.

Here we are at Cypress Gardens:

(Lily didn't want a picture, so I got Scott to get his picture taken)
One of the ducks hanging out in the butterfly house really loved Maggie's blanket and took a few nibbles at it.
The weather was so perfect that day! We went out on one of the boats and saw a few alligators.

Here we are at the end of the boat tour:
Getting to our car, Lily enjoyed a shoulder ride from Daddy:

A few weeks ago we went to the Children's Museum and Lily got to meet Cinderella, Rapunzel and Belle there!!

Also, Lily and Scott went to Lowe's to do one of their Build and Grow projects and then got the supplies for building a rope swing in our backyard.

The night before General Conference (a time when members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints get together to hear messages from our leaders of the Church - as they have been directed to give by the Lord . . . find out more HERE and HERE), we went CAMPING!!! It was Maggie's first time and she did awesome!
 (Maggie adores her big sister)

P.S. General Conference was amazing!!! Watch it HERE!

Here's some more random things, because being random is the cool thing to do :-)

Lily is doing so well at preschool and she's really improving on her reading skills. It makes me so happy when I find her sitting quietly and looking (sometimes trying to read) books!

We made Halloween sugar cookies for Family Home Evening, yum!

I took this random picture of Maggie for the Grandmas because we love our Grandmas!

Scott recently took the Young Men and Young Women to a corn maze. They had tons of fun and came home really dirty :-) Here he is on the hay ride.

Lily and Maggie enjoying some "tummy time" together :-)

And finally, Lily the Princess Fire Chief and her assistant Teddy!
(Okay, come on you must have laughed out loud from this picture!! This girl is a riot!)
