We've been keeping ourselves busy and we're enjoying going out more as a family lately . . . especially since the weather is getting SO much cooler.
Recently we went to Cypress Gardens because Berkeley County residents get in for free on the 3rd Saturday of the month (before 12pm), and we sure do love when we find fun activities for free!
As we were leaving for Cypress Gardens we noticed Maggie was laughing out loud in her sleep (for about 3 minutes or so)! Such a cutie . . . so the picture below is when she was laughing.
Here we are at Cypress Gardens:
(Lily didn't want a picture, so I got Scott to get his picture taken)
One of the ducks hanging out in the butterfly house really loved Maggie's blanket and took a few nibbles at it.
The weather was so perfect that day! We went out on one of the boats and saw a few alligators.
Here we are at the end of the boat tour:
Getting to our car, Lily enjoyed a shoulder ride from Daddy:
A few weeks ago we went to the Children's Museum and Lily got to meet Cinderella, Rapunzel and Belle there!!
Also, Lily and Scott went to Lowe's to do one of their Build and Grow projects and then got the supplies for building a rope swing in our backyard.
The night before General Conference (a time when members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints get together to hear messages from our leaders of the Church - as they have been directed to give by the Lord . . . find out more HERE and HERE), we went CAMPING!!! It was Maggie's first time and she did awesome!
(Maggie adores her big sister)
P.S. General Conference was amazing!!! Watch it HERE!
Here's some more random things, because being random is the cool thing to do :-)
Lily is doing so well at preschool and she's really improving on her reading skills. It makes me so happy when I find her sitting quietly and looking (sometimes trying to read) books!
We made Halloween sugar cookies for Family Home Evening, yum!
I took this random picture of Maggie for the Grandmas because we love our Grandmas!
Scott recently took the Young Men and Young Women to a corn maze. They had tons of fun and came home really dirty :-) Here he is on the hay ride.
Lily and Maggie enjoying some "tummy time" together :-)
And finally, Lily the Princess Fire Chief and her assistant Teddy!
(Okay, come on you must have laughed out loud from this picture!! This girl is a riot!)
