Over the Weekend and Beyond!

This last weekend we had a lot of fun events along with our packing and getting ready to move. On Friday, my loving friends held a going away party for us (but it was mostly people from the rink, but a couple from our ward - the Adairs - and Jenn, Alan, Jared, and Lauren came as well as Ashley). We had a blast . . . food, fun, and swimming! Lily sort of liked swimming . . .hopefully she's becomes more adjusted to it when she gets a little bit older.

Then on Saturday, we had a Tour History party with Scott's PAC Folk Dance team, it was great to see our good friends again. Oh yeah! And Last Sunday we got to visit with our dear friend Sam.

Sunday (today) was our last day in our current ward. We were asked to speak, and so we spoke and it went pretty well. I talked on the Atonement and Scott compared moving temporally to moving spiritually to the celestial kingdom. It was sad to leave our friends that we have made, but once again it gives us more of a reason to keep in touch. Also today we went on a walk and fed the ducks at the botany pond south of BYU campus. It was fun to feed the ducks (Lily wasn't too interested).

The next couple of days will be filled with packing, cleaning and errands - basically getting every little detail done before we move into the "real world." We also have our moving appointment with the Navy tomorrow at 10am in Ogden - we are hoping that we can also stop in Salt Lake City so Scott can get commissioned as an officer. Also, on our way back from that excursion we will pick up a bed frame for Ashley and Will since they'll be taking our bed when they get married, but we're keeping our frame. Fun stuff!!! Well, I guess that is it for now, we will update probably after we're done doing all the packing, moving, and travelling.

I've been doing great! Scott, my husband, is away for Navy officer training right now and I'm just hanging out with my family until he's done. Glad you found me!
