What's new? Well, of course, we've been keeping busy . . . but business has become a habit for us. Anyway, we have been able to slip in some fun times, thankfully. So . . . Enjoy!
Recently, we went to a baseball game with our friends the Lee's. It was a great game. Our team won, and Lily had a blast playing with the Lees while ignoring her parents (at least until the fireworks started, then she hid under a blanket the whole time).

For the Memorial Day holiday, we went and did a quick overnight camping trip (right by the beach). At night, while camping, we went to the beach to watch the waves and dance in the light of the Full Moon (yes, we really did dance and it was an awesome experience as a family . . . don't knock it until you try it).
(Lily got her own Tinkerbell sleeping bag this time . . . once we got camp set up, she only wanted to lay in her sleeping bag)
The next day we went to an old home called Atalaya ("the watch tower" in spanish - it did have a tower). It was built in the 1930s by a rich guy named Huntington who was into hispanic culture. We didn't go inside, but hung around the front entrance and got to feel the breeze created by the Spanish architecture of the hallway leading to the main building - it really worked (see picture with Lily and I)(Lily by the side of Atalaya)

What do you think this is? No, it's not a beach front resort . . . it's a MINIATURE GOLF COURSE! If you want to play miniature golf, Myrtle Beach is the place to be. They have tons of different elaborate courses just blocks away from each other.

Finally, we made it home from our trip and over the Memorial Day weekend Scott went to the temple with the youth for baptisms for the dead, we did a lot of work in our garden, cleaned out the shed and garage, fixed a grill given to us by a friend, and had a great cook out with friends. What a great weekend.

Wow! You guys have been busy. And I have to say, that sand sculpture is cool. I don't think I have ever seen a sand sculpture before...I would think that would be pretty tricky to pull off!
