UPDATES!!!!!

We have been so busy lately!!! We've had so many things I can't remember what we did, but that's not saying much since I can't seem to remember a lot lately :-). Anyway, the pictures below describe a little bit of what we've done:

Here is our garden this year!!! We're very excited that it's doing well so far!! We have pumpkins, watermelon, yellow crooked-necked squash, zucchini, garlic, onions, basil, green pepper, banana peppers, corn, tomatoes and strawberries (those are the plants at the end of the post in the pots). We'll also be planting some green beans to grow up by the corn, too!! Yay for gardens!!!!

Recently, Lily got to go to a princess birthday party . . . so I tried my hand at curling her hair, it stayed curled for about 2 hours :-). Bone straight hair like her father . . . But it was darling while it lasted. She looks so grown up in these pictures, makes me want to cry!!!

(By the way, Scott took these pictures . . . they turned out amazing, what a wonderful husband)

(P.S. Those flowers are the beds in front of our house)

Lily decorating her crown at the birthday party!

Recently for one of our church playgroups we added going to the beach . . . it was very windy, but we still had fun!

There was a guy para surfing, so awesome!

Last Saturday, we went to the temple and then went to the zoo!!
Here is Lily standing right next to a giant Galapagos tortoise!!!

Riding an elephant statue!

Giraffes!

Lily, after getting home from our trip, decided to wear my church shoes . . . silly girl.

Happy Mother's Day!! These flowers were from my parents, what a surprise. Scott cut out a puzzle with messages of things him and Lily would do for me and hid them around the house for me to find and put together. It was wonderful! Also, we would like to give a shout out to both our mothers . . . you are such amazing women and we love you so much, thank you for your wonderful examples!!!

And, to reiterate . . . our tomatoes and strawberry plants.

We've been having so much fun. Life is definitely an adventure when you learn to trust the Lord and enjoy life to the fullest!
