Mountains, dancing, and graduations! Oh my!

On Memorial Day weekend, we took a quick trip up to my sisters new house. She (and my parents), live on about 9 acres of land nestled right next to a beautiful mountain!! It was such a great visit and time to escape from the rest of the world. We got to meet her fiance and the kids got to try out new things.

Maggie recently finished a dance class at the community center. She is definitely our little ballerina. Photos are by Joann Renee Photography.

Maggie had her Mini School preschool graduation, she's officially a Spanish-Immersion Kindergartner!!

Lily also had her 2nd grade showcase. We LOVED her teacher this year! Lily thrived in the atmosphere the teacher created :-)

Scott's Hooding Ceremony for his MBA . . . this was such an awesome celebration to go to (and shorter than the other main graduation ceremony). We are so proud of Scott!!! Way to go!!

At Scott's BYU graduation, Lily was only 4 months old and we had her wear his cap then . . . Isaac definitely didn't like it as much as Lily did, LOL.

After the hooding ceremony, we went to the Grand Floral Parade and enjoyed dancing in the streets and eating our lunch.

We also participated in the National Get Outdoors Day! But, we didn't stay long because we were all pretty tired. But, at least the girls got some goodies and shot an arrow :-)

We celebrated the beginning of Summer on the last day of school (for Lily). We ate yummy food and gave out a couple summer presents. This year we gave Lily and Maggie masks and snorkels.

 New Sandbox!!!

My summer present was a "new to us" oven, because our other one decided to not work properly anymore. Thank you Scott and our friend Gary for all your hard work of sawing and getting it in there!!

Now, on to SUMMER!!! Yay!! We have lots of fun planned for July, so stay tuned for another edition of the Schachterle files :-)
