We had a wonderful Christmas break! Scott had 2 weeks off from work, too . . .
The week of Christmas we went to visit family, but before we left we let Lily get started on opening a few presents:
She loves her new nightgown and slippers!
And her new dress!
Then, we travelled on an airplane, which Lily did amazing on . . . she seriously is a 25 year old in a 3 year old body.Anyway, here she is at the temple where her Uncle Jeff and Aunt Elizabeth got married. Yes, she's wearing another great new dress (thanks Grammy Graham).
Here is the happy couple! Congrats!!
I know this is blurry, but I thought it was a neat picture.
Lily with Uncle Jeff.
Here we are at the temple doors!!
At the wedding reception . . .
Lily helped with the cake cutting! P.S. Since it was her actual birthday, we told her she had a wedding cake for her birthday cake!! Great job to Aunt Jenn for making such a beautiful cake!

The next day, Lily got to play in the snow with daddy, Uncle Alan, and her cousins!
We later went to Tucanos!!! And ran into Santa . . .
Mmmmmm, so good!!!
Lily loved playing with her cousins all week!! Grandma and Grandpa Schachterle gave Lily some links for her birthday and they put all of them together and made a huge necklace!
Later in the week, we went to Temple Square and saw the lights! They were beautiful!

Christmas morning, Santa found Lily! She never let go of that stocking until we flew home that day!
Great family morning shot after opening presents.
We flew home on Christmas Day and then the next day, after church (which due to jet lag, I was only able to attend and only through Sacrament meeting - we were so tired), we had our family Christmas.
We got to even open our presents while it snowed outside!! That makes it 2 years in a row we got snow in the South!
Lily got her favorite gift - a princess treasure box full of dress up clothes (she especially likes the Cinderella dress up).

Now we're into a new year and so many fun things are coming this year!!! This month we are doing Tourist in Your Own Town, so many more pictures to come from that. Our biggest news will be coming in July . . . after a long wait and many prayers, we are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby!!!! Yay!!! Lily already likes the idea of being a big sister.
