Holiday and Indoor Fun!

Last Friday we had the chance to go to West Farm Corn Maze (it was my - Bethany- first time going to a corn maze). We had a blast! Lily was a little tired though since she hasn't been sleeping very well lately, but she enjoyed the pumpkins, animals, and running around with other children (especially in the ball area).
Here we are after our hay ride, Lily liked it a little . . . but after all those rides at Disney World, anything that moves and that's not a car is a little scary for her.

This was at the entrance of the corn maze! It was hot and sticky, but very enjoyable!

Since it's been raining a lot lately, we've been finding activities to do indoors. So, a little while back I learned about Story Time at the library that is about 10 minutes from our house. Lily is learning how fun the library can be and is getting very good at sitting and listening to the story, then doing the stretches and moving activities (as shown below).

It looks like we are definitely going to get this little monkey in gymnastics (dance and maybe even skating will come later - but we'll let her decide) when she turns 2 years old (she very agile and can already hang on to things and swing).

I can explain now... I have another new niece!!! My sister-in-law can't have kids, so they rely on the miracle of adoption... After several failed adoptions this year, they have been blessed with another miracle baby... That makes 2 little girls for this very amazing family!!
