Too much going on!! But it's all good stuff.

These past couple of weeks have been so crazy and busy, filled with family and fun! Since I last wrote I finally got my skates heat molded and they are great!!! Thursday, Scott went golfing with his AICHE buddies in the morning and later that day Grandma and Grandpa McAllister came into town and took us out to eat at Legends . . .I had to leave quickly because of work, but while I was eating Grandma McAllister was quizzing me on my immediate family so she could have a family group sheet on the Graham family for Family History - that was pretty interesting.

Then on Saturday, I went to a baby shower for Britta Styers (one of my good friends from the rink)Also, the following week was Scott's graduation from BYU. On Wednesday, I cut Scott's hair so he could look even better when he walked to get his diploma. Also on Wednesday (which was the day Scott took his last final) we went and got Chinese food and flew a kite at Rock Canyon Park.

On Thursday morning Scott's parents and brother Brett came into town in the early morning (3:00 am). Also, on Thursday, Scott had a dentist appointment and Lily had her 4 month check up. Lily was 11 lbs. 6 oz. and 23 inches long! And the doctor said that she is doing well (she's 10th %ile in height and weight and 50th %ile in head size). Only thing Lily didn't like about her visit to the doctor was the shots!! Oh boy, did she cry bloody murder. But things got better as the day went on. We attended Commencement where Elder Bednar spoke to the graduates and Lily had fun playing with cousin Lauren and kicking Uncle Alan. Afterwards we took some pictures outside and Scott and I got to ring the victory bell. Funny story . . .I looked at the program with all the graduates names and mine was there!! Crazy, seeing as I walked in August 07! People in BYU administration are funny. Here are some pictures:

After Commencement we went to our apartment and had a wonderful spaghetti dinner (where I made some amazing garlic bread . . .I was pretty shocked myself). After dinner we had a doughnut party . . .yeah baby! Good food good people.

Friday finally came and it was Scott's college graduation. Before going to his Convocation, we went and met President Samuelson at "Meet the President". That was interesting as well. He was like "I love seeing all these future BYU students," which all of us looked at each other going "what?" especially since almost everyone (except Brett and the children) had either graduated from or were attending BYU at that moment - funny President. After meeting the President of BYU we went to Scott's graduation. We had fun waiting for him to get his diploma (or the empty folder which will eventually hold his diploma) - the guy saying his name made some royal mistakes, but who doesn't with a last name like Schachterle. After that we went to a buffet that his college put on (thank goodness because all of us were starving). Finally, that night we had wonderful nachos at Jenn's house, then me and Scott went to a party for my brother Jason and the wonderful Laura - I like her a lot! When we got back to Jenn's we all went out for ice cream at the BYU Creamery and listened to mom tell great stories of her childhood.

On Saturday I had to go to work and afterwards we had a BBQ at North Park . . .it was very cold and windy so we didn't stay too long after eating. We then went to Jenn's and ate cake and did some Dance Dance Revolution. Good times.

The next week, I had to work a lot so, Scott got to watch Lily. On top of that the Peaks Figure Skating Club (PFSC) that I'm a part of asked me to perform at the exhibition on Saturday, so I had to practice my program (which is to the song Breath of Heaven and is 3:45 long). Also, Cara came into town for Women's Conference, which we both got to attend. Furthermore, the dad of one of my really good friends and my Bishop (from when I was in high school) passed away (he got hit by a car riding his bike to work) - so I'm so glad to have the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation so I know that I will see him again, but it was still very sad and shocking that it happened. Women's Conference was enlightening and I have found a few things that I definitely need to improve upon, but such is life. Work went well too, only a few mishaps but it all worked out. I enjoyed time with Cara and I know she had fun seeing her niece. We got to hear President Thomas S. Monson speak on Friday, May 2nd. He is an amazing man and I love his stories. He can truly make a woman feel of worth in the eyes of God. Saturday was the PFSC exhibition. I performed pretty well (wish I landed my axel - that was kind of disappointing - but there probably were some reasons behind it . . .I skated last, I was still breaking in new boots, and I'm still coming back from being pregnant), but it was sad because it was my last performance with the PFSC . . . I will really miss being in that club. Oh yeah! Lily ate her first rice cereal too!

Finally, Saturday (May 3rd) night we got to go out on a date and Ashley and Joseph watched Lily. We went and saw the Spiderwick Chronicles and then went to dinner at Las Tarascas - good food, but Sunday we got hit with the Curse of Montezuma and don't really like the bathroom as much anymore. :-)
