What have we been up to . . . . end of August until now.

It's been a fun couple of months! We finished off August with Isaac reaching 22 lbs (and is about the size of Esther) and Scott and I celebrating our 10 year Anniversary!

We also celebrated Scott's birthday :-)

These girls sure do love their daddy!

First day of school!! Both Lily and Maggie are in the Spanish - Immersion program at school. We were a little hesitant for Maggie at first but now she is really picking up on the language and is doing great, she can already count to 100 in Spanish! Lily is also doing AMAZING and is getting ready to take the EXCEL CogNat test again in a couple months. Esther loves being read to and learning her letters and numbers here at home :-)

Isaac is eating real food! He is also working on getting mobile, just a little difficult with is cute roly-poly pudginess :-)

He also is making friends :-) Isaac especially likes to touch faces.

Esther is learning to play with Isaac too!

Pumpkin love! Maggie got to go on a school field trip to a pumpkin patch and bring home a pumpkin of her very own. We grew a lot of pumpkins in our garden too, so I have A LOT of pumpkin puree to make all kinds of yummy dishes.

Maggie really loves having a brother and likes to take time to have one on one time with him.

Did I mention that our children literally climb the walls?

Lily is actually able to touch her back on the ceiling how :-)

We love our kiddos! It's been an adjustment getting  used to having four, but we are starting to get into the groove and learning our children's different personalities. We've had some rough times and a lot of lost sleep, but being parents is truly a learning process and there is always ups and downs when you are learning (practice makes patience). I forget that sometimes and get hard on myself and worry about whether or not I'm a good parent. But, my children's happy faces and joyful laughter remind me that as long as I have a joyful household, we must be doing something right :-)
