Thanksgiving . . . a little late :-)

November came and went pretty quickly in our household . . . but we had some wonderful moments.

One night I decided we needed a wreath for the Thanksgiving holiday, so this is what I came up with:

Lily also got her first taste of Apple Cider . . . and likes to ask for it, a lot :-)

The day before Thanksgiving was our baking day (that started a little later than planned due to taking Lily to the doctor because she got her first ear infection, but she's doing great now). Here is the picture of the pies I made (pumpkin w/leaf accent crust, walnut, and chocolate):
And . . . dun, dun, dun!!!!! Our turkey with cornbread stuffing. It was our first time trying the cornbread stuffing, and it came out really good . . . but it is on the sweeter side (and we like the saltier taste to stuffing) so, we'll be going back to our other stuffing next year. The turkey was really juicy and wonderful!

I also made some gravy and added a little bit of cayenne pepper to it, it was very yummy.

We also made broccoli/cauliflower bake and candied yams!!! Yum!! Scott made the yams and they were swimming in heavy whipping cream, brown sugar, and butter, wow!!!
We had Thanksgiving with a couple from church and we had a blast hanging out, watching movies and chatting until the kiddies' bedtime. Lily was so tired by the end that she fell asleep in the car on the way home.

When we got home and got Lily to bed, Scott carved our turkey . . . what a great man!
During the Thanksgiving holiday, we decided it was finally time to clean up the front yard of the 2 inch layer of leaves that had accumulated . . . and play in them a little too!

And we put up our Christmas Decorations, too! This year we bought candy cane lights and the Peanuts crew ice skating.
And finally here are some great videos!
Lily playing the harmonica and Tito "singing":

And our little ballerina dancing:

This weekend we are celebrating Lily's birthday with all her friends with a Princess and Prince party at the local park by our house. Then later (in a week or two) we will take Lily to Chuck E. Cheese's for her family birthday party. Lily is so excited about her birthday party this year, and Christmas. It's so much fun when kids are finally at the age that they know what's going on and are as excited as you are!
Lots of fun stuff planned this month! Can't wait!!!
